
Sebastián Carrasco Heap is a Chilean musician, composer and music producer who sings under the pseudonym No Rim. In 2010 he won first place and the public prize in the prestigious Chilean competition “Luis Advis” with “Aak”, a work for guitar and orchestra, performed by the Chilean Chamber Orchestra at the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center.
No Rim has released 5 studio albums, his latest album, “Natural Plastik”, was released on November 11, 2024, an album where he fuses styles such as Techno, IDM, House and melodic progressions, it is an album with an introspective and playful background, to be listened to both at home and on the dance floor.
In 2014, Seba Carrasco Heap was awarded a scholarship to study Music Production at the SAE Institute in Barcelona, Spain. During this period, he complemented his training with Mixing and Mastering mentorships, which further enriched his experience.
Sebastian composed and performed a visual concert in live format at the 13th version of the Santiago de Chile Media Arts Biennial in 2019, held at the Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Claudio Arrau room.
He was musical director and composer for the plays “Oedipus Rex” (Sophocles), at the Gabriela Mistral cultural center (2011), “The Reincarnation of La Chimba” (Jose Donoso), and years later for “Oleaje” and “Duelo” by Rodrigo Morales.
The multidisciplinary Rim has released albums in Europe and South America, “Waktu”, “Plaza” and “Danda”, the latter as part of his electronic work, inspired by nature and the sounds of Central America and Africa. This work fuses electronic and organic textures, where the artist offers an expansive and sensorial auditory experience.
Sebastian has produced music for other artists, managing to publish on more than 15 labels in various parts of the world, Spain, Mexico, Italy, Argentina and Chile.
